Patrick is amazing. I'm a 13 handicap player and after one lesson with Mr. McCarthy, I am confident that I can get below a 10! He connected with me, my swing and my skills to get me more consistent and relaxed in my swing. It was like getting 3 lessons in 1! The trackman also demonstrated my progress / improvement during the lesson itself! My 1 lesson with him (more to come) was easily better than any club purchase I've ever made. Thank you, Patrick, for elevating my game.

Patrick is an amazing golf instructor. He’s incredibly easy to get along with and creates such a comfortable environment. As someone who has struggled learning how to play golf, he makes every lesson enjoyable and much less intimidating. He’s patient, explains things in a way that’s easy to understand, and always keeps the lessons positive and fun. I couldn’t recommend Patrick enough to anyone looking to improve their game, whether you’re a complete beginner or have been playing for years.

We have been taking our daughter to drop-in lessons on Sunday for the last few weeks with Coach John. At first she was very nervous starting out as a beginner, but coach John quickly made her feel at ease with his positive energy and encouraging attitude. Coach John has been outstanding with our child. He combines strong golf knowledge with patience, encouragement, and a genuine passion for helping young players improve. Lessons are well organized, engaging, and tailored to each player's needs. We highly recommend Coach John to any family looking for a positive and effective youth golf coach.

Patrick was awesome during my club fitting session. He was a lot of fun and also gave me some pointers while I was trying out different varieties. What more can you ask for than a bonus lesson of instruction! He was very helpful with any questions I had via email. Another bonus is he was patient with me during the club buying journey. I sent numerous emails back and forth asking his advice and different questions. Patrick is a class act and even has the look of a pro, sporting luscious locks like Tommy Fleetwood. He's the guy you want for the job! Highly recommend for your fitting and instruction needs! 10/10

Patrick — the founder of PMG Golf Academy — is a fantastic human being & golf coach! From the moment you walk up, he makes you feel like an instant friend - cracking jokes, breaking down techniques, and doing what he can to understand your game. His coaching is tailored to YOUR swing, keeping things fun and encouraging. Kids adore him during junior camps, where he teaches way more than just golf - we’re talking respect, etiquette, and a genuine love for the game.
His only downside: He’s a die-hard Boston sports fan, so I encourage some playful banter, such as: “Hey Patrick, remember superbowl LII???” ⛳️🦅

10/10 recommend working with & getting to know Patrick!

PMC Golf Academy provides a comfortable atmosphere for even the newest to the sport. For years I wanted to get into golf and stumbled upon Patrick’s classes. I participated in 101; 201; and 301 courses. I enjoyed Patrick’s approach, sense of humor, and meeting new people. After a few months in I became skeptical because I wanted to grow more expeditiously; however, I trusted the process and now play golf 2-3 times a week and plan golf trips. Occasionally, I take private lessons and take advantage of additional services offered. I introduced multiple friends to PMC and they too are pleased.
